Step-by-Step Setup
Install a Wallet
If you don't have a Solana wallet yet, we recommend starting with Phantom:
- Visit phantom.app (opens in a new tab)
- Download the browser extension or mobile app
- Create a new wallet or import existing seed phrase
- Secure your wallet with a strong password
Security Tip: Never share your seed phrase with anyone. TrenchWars will never ask for your private keys or seed phrase.
Fund Your Wallet
You'll need SOL to place bets:
- Buy SOL from a major exchange (Binance, Coinbase, FTX)
- Withdraw SOL to your wallet address
- Minimum Amount: 0.1 SOL recommended for testing
Connect to TrenchWars
- Visit trenchwars.io (opens in a new tab)
- Click "Connect Wallet" in the top right
- Select your wallet from the list
- Approve the connection in your wallet
Verify Connection
Once connected, you should see:
- Your wallet address (truncated) in the header
- Your SOL balance
- Access to the betting interface

- ✅ Keep seed phrase offline and secure

🚨 Red Flags
Never approve transactions that:
- Request unlimited token approvals
- Come from unknown dApps
- Ask for seed phrase or private keys
- Redirect to suspicious URLs
Troubleshooting
Connection Issues
Problem: Wallet won't connect
- Ensure wallet extension is enabled
- Refresh the page and try again
- Clear browser cache if needed
- Check if wallet is on Solana mainnet
Problem: Transaction fails
- Check you have enough SOL for gas fees
- Verify network connection
